risky run - around age of 12-14 we were up on Minnesota fishing. Dad and his friend were in one boat and myself and my buddy were in another boat with Dad's motor. We took off first to run in to the cabin and being kids we were all over the lake and got too shallow and ran on a sand bar where boat was not floating anymore. hearing my Dad coming in the other boat I told my buddy to start fishing (6 inches of water). we just waved at Dad as he drove by and then had to get out to pull the boat off. Told Dad about this story 15 year later.
