MATT PANGRAC
The Host of BTL
Matt Pangrac has worked in the professional bass fishing industry full-time since graduating from The University of Oklahoma in 2008. Matt has covered the Bassmaster Elite Series and the MLF Pro Circuit on-location as a Senior Writer for the BASS ZONE.
Pangrac currently competes in the Bassmaster Open Elite Qualifiers. He has qualified for two B.A.S.S. Nation National Championships, and finished in 3rd place in the 2019 MLF Toyota Series Championship.
After co-hosting BTL with Mark Jeffreys from 2008–2021, Pangrac has hosted the popular show since 2022.
MARK JEFFREYS
Founder of BTL & The BASS ZONE
Mark Jeffreys has been a part of the professional bass fishing media for three decades. The creator of the BASS ZONE, BTL and Z3 Media, Jeffreys was a trendsetter in the digital media and live video webcasting in the bass fishing world.
After 18 seasons hosting BTL, Jeffreys announced his retirement at the end of the 2021 season. With over 2,500 live broadcasts under his belt, the University of Oklahoma graduate plans on pursuing his passions for bass fishing, coaching basketball, and bowling, while remaining in-touch with the industry that he was so influential in developing.
