lived the old shows when they were on. still cringe when pros slam the bass in the bottom of the boat as in the video. you would think the pros would have more respect for their catch knowing the fans see the landings and short fish release. its a wonder the fish live. or do they?? also thanks for the timely replays. seldom do I get to watch show live.

afterthought-maybe a show on how pros treat fish other than at the weigh in stage. it would be a eye opener.

Just my opinion but they should really look at the way that MLF does on the water coverage. I know it is not feasible to cover an entire Elite Field, but send out 8 boats each day and give some on the water coverage and follow up with a short post weigh-in interview detailing their day. The original Bassmasters show was very similar to this. It would also give some exposure to the lesser known anglers. I think some really great anglers are not getting the exposure that they deserve for whatever reason. The new guys need some love to keep the sport and the sponsors mainstream.
