Milam, Tex. – The 2009 season was a remarkable one for Mayflower, Ark. pro Billy McCaghren. His season, which included a 3rd place finish at the Genuity River Rumble on the Mississippi River out of Fort Madison, Iowa, garnered the attention of Talon Series Custom Lures, a Milam, Tex. based lure manufacturer; who added McCaghren to their National Fishing Team.

McCaghren, The 36-year-old Bassmaster Elite Series pro performed like a veteran in his rookie season on the Bassmaster Elite Series. His on the water performance earned him a trip to the 2010 Bassmaster Classic at Lay Lake next week; his first. It also earned him the 2009 Bassmaster Elite Series Rookie of the Year award. The Talon Series line will be a perfect complement to his approach.
