Shreveport, LA -Here are some quick quotes from the final day with the Classic competitors:

It was a slow day today. It was a grind.
--Randy Howell

I switched spots yesterday and caught about 17 pounds. I went right to that area today and they just went to snapping.
--Kenyon Hill

It was meat and potatoes fishing.
--Kenyon Hill

It takes a long time to get there, but when I get there I catch them pretty quick.
--Shaw Grigsby

The comeback was good but the first day really killed me. If I was a rookie I’d say I made a mistake, but I’m a veteran so that’s where I really kick myself. I should know better and did know better and still did it.
--Shaw Grigsby

I left out of there about 11 o’clock and got the big stick out.
--Greg Pugh

I took the hyacinth route today like I’d planned on. I’d saved them all week.
--Bobby Lane

This one’s in the books. I’ll finish where I finish and get on with ’09.
--Bobby Lane

I just didn’t get the bites today. I had five bites and caught four of them. I just couldn’t get in a rhythm.
--Dean Rojas

I never even threw the frog all week. I could never get any bites on it in practice.
--Dean Rojas

At 12 o’clock I had zero.
--Casey Ashley

The day went fine other than that I didn’t catch any five or six-pound fish. I had a fair day, but not the kind of day you need on the last day of the Classic.
--Mark Davis
