Tulsa,
OK. – Toyota continues moving forward with their support of
competitive bass fishing by launching the Toyota Trucks
Bonus Bucks program. It is fishing’s first ever national tow-vehicle
based contingency program for anglers fishing in Bassmaster affiliated events.
Tournament anglers who drive a 2007 or newer Tundra or Sequoia as their towvehicle
will be eligible for considerable amounts of bonus money at the weigh-in
this year if they are registered in the Toyota Trucks Bonus Bucks program.

Whether you compete as a member of the Federation Nation, Weekend
Series, or full-time as an Elite Series Pro, anglers at all levels of Bassmaster
affiliated tournaments stand to benefit. Best of all, there’s no registration fee,
and you don’t have to win the tournament to be eligible for the Bonus Bucks.
Plus, the Federation Nation will benefit doubly in some cases by receiving
matching funds based on the success of individual members.
Kevin VanDam says the truck and the associated contingency money make
towing with Toyota the sensible choice. “First and foremost, the Tundra is a
great truck. In fact, I’ve told a lot of other fishermen that it’s truly the best tow
vehicle I’ve ever driven. You notice the towing power it has immediately. Then,
you throw the Bonus Bucks incentive money on top of a superior product, and
as far as I’m concerned you can’t afford to tow with anything but a Tundra.”
