Siloam Springs, Ar. - The gopher may have been the nemesis of Bill Murray's character Carl Spackler in Caddyshack, but for FLW Tour pro Carl Svebek III, a gopher sighting is a good thing.
Svebek, who runs a Castrol-wrapped Ranger, has signed on with Gopherindustrial .com. His Gopher-wrapped Ford F150 will certainly turn some heads as he transits the country en route to various levels of FLW Outdoors tournaments.
Gopher Industrial is headquartered in Orange, Texas, and "they sell just about every kind of industrial product there is, from screwdrivers to welding machines."

For Svebek, who left Texas five years ago for Arkansas, the affiliation is like a trip down memory road.
"I went to high school with David Jones, the owner, and we played baseball together. We hadn't talked in 20 years, but he had kept up with my fishing career and wanted to get involved. We touched base a year and a half ago and they wanted to jump right in."
In addition to his position as a rolling billboard, Svebek will attend open houses and provide fishing trips for drawings. He's excited by the company's potential as well as their geography.
"There's a lot of room for growth. Right now they're building a new facility in south Texas. When I leave Florida (after the start of the FLW Tour season), I'm going straight to Texas."
"It's been kind of a big circle. I've enjoyed the move to Arkansas. It has been very good for my family and I'm finally learning to fish those rocky lakes up there. But I miss Texas, too, those lakes like Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend."
