Ca – The BASS ZONE was on location at Sacramento’s Cal Expo on Saturday January 19, 2008 for the annual International Sportsman’s Exposition, the largest outdoor show in Northern California. While he wasn’t officially supposed to be a part of the festivities, 2007 Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year Skeet Reese made a surprise appearance at the show, and his new Lucky Craft wrapped rig was on hand.
Reese will be towing his Champion 210 Elite on a Pro Tour Trailer this year, and the powerhouse of the whole setup is a Ford F650 fully dressed in Lucky Craft and Reese’s trademark black and yellow color scheme. The design of the wrap was constructed by Lucky Craft, and the wrap was printed and applied by Sticky Graphics of Roseville, CA.
The BASS ZONE spent a few minutes with the BASS Angler of the Year, heard more about new projects, a new sponsor, and got the pictures to prove it.
Reese announced that he has reached an agreement with a new sunglass company that is making a push into the fishing market; WileyX signed him in the last two weeks.
He also said that he is hard at work with Lucky Craft on his new brand of baits called Redemption Lures. Reese told The BASS ZONE of the new joint venture at the Anglers Marine Bass-a-Thon in Anaheim, CA in November

here), and gave us this update. “We are primarily working on the logos, packaging and marketing plan currently,” he revealed. “We are also in the beginning design stages of some of the baits, but I’m not yet sure when we will see some of the first prototypes.”
Reese also had some of his newly completed Skeet Reese branded apparel for sale at the show. The line features t-shirts, performance layers and stocking caps that will bear his likeness and logos. These same items will be available at his booth at the Bassmaster Classic at Lake Hartwell in South Carolina in February. |
