Collierville, TN – Strike King Lure Company along with Skeeter Boats announces Mark Menendez’s 2008 Wrap design for the 2008 Elite Series. “The Best Products for the Best Fans” Is the slogan you will find this year on each side of Mark Menendez’s Skeeter boat as he competes on the BASS Elite Series trail. 

“The wrap itself is pretty plain as it is solid white with large black Skeeter and Strike King logos” says Menendez. “We spend a lot of time signing autographs in angler alley and other stops for fans, so myself and the folks at Skeeter and Strike King thought we should let the fans autograph something, so we decided on the boat.” 

his year’s boat will be a tribute to all the fans of fishing. Fans can participate by autographing Mark’s boat whenever they meet him at an event. “When Mark came to us with this idea we all were blown away by it and wanted to be involved immediately.” Says Chris Brown, Marketing Manager for Strike King Lure Company. “Strike King, Skeeter and Mark are all dedicated to the fans of fishing and all fisherman so we are very excited about this opportunity.” 

Mark travels this year would not be complete however without Barkley, his faithful yellow lab. “Barkley has a new job this year, he is head of security at the Menendez household.” Mark says. “So we incorporated him into the wrap as well, I think he’s the bigger celebrity here anyway.” Look for Mark on this years 2008 BASS Elite Series Trail.
