Idabel, Okla. – The BASS ZONE has learned that Jeff Reynolds, Bassmaster Elite Series pro from Idabel, Okla. has signed a deal with Triton Boats and will be running a TR-21X powered by a Mercury 250XS during the 2008 season.

“Having run the Tritons during the season, I was always impressed with their smooth ride, handling and speed,” Reynolds told The BASS ZONE. “I am really happy to be joining Triton, and am looking forward to being in this boat next season. Having Triton’s quality underneath me gives me a lot of confidence to go compete at a high level.”

Reynolds said that he will be running the Vicious wrap on the Elite Series again this year. “The boat will be getting wrapped in Nashville, and I will be picking it up next week,” he revealed. “I will probably go to Falcon after that, because I’ve never been there.”

The trip to Falcon will be Reynolds first fishing expedition of the off-season; he said that he has been busy helping his father-in-law build a new house about mile from his in Idabel. “The house was framed for him, but we’ve done the rest,” said Reynolds. “We’re just waiting on appliances and the plumber, then I think they’re ready to move in.”

Aside form helping Amanda’s father with carpentry; he has competed in a few team-roping competitions, but said it wasn’t a great year. “I’ve made a couple of paychecks, but it’s been nothing to write home about; it’s time to start thinking about fishing.”
