Muscle Shoals, Ala. – Savvy fishing fans know that two days after Thanksgiving, veteran bass pro Timmy Horton will have his eyes trained on the Auburn-Alabama football grudge match. But unless you have some inside information, you’d be hard-pressed to guess where he’ll be on Thanksgiving itself.
Give up?
New York City.
In an appearance set up by Horton’s contacts at Bass Pro Shops, he’ll be on the nationally-televised “Fox & Friends” program that Thursday.
Asked what he’ll be doing, he responded: “Maybe cooking a turkey. I’m not really sure.”
He’ll be taking the whole family, and they’ll hang around after the taping to get a firsthand look at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. While he’s been to a wide variety of cities in his coast-to-coast travels, this will be his first visit to the Big Apple.
“I’m sure it’ll be overwhelming,” he said. “But we’re really looking forward to
it.
