  GRAND FISHING RETURNS TO TELEVISION
Tony Coatney's Show Begins Airing April 28th

Grand Fishing with Tony Coatney returns to the airways on April 28th. Tony runs the Shangri-La Guide Service on Grand Lake and has more than 15 years of experience guiding clients for all varieties of fish.

“I’m excited about our 5th season,” said Tony. “This is a program that provides entertainment and education for all anglers.”

His show, which is in it’s 5th year of production, will feature guest like Elite Series pro Charley Weir, Pure Fishing rep Steve Lucis, local spoonbill specialist Mark Bolte and the Bill Dance of Mexico, Chuy Morales.

Grand Fishing with Tony Coatney will proved tips on techniques, equipment and seasonal patterns not only for bass, but also spoonbill, catfish and white bass. With 15 years of guide service and almost 30 years of fishing experience on Grand Lake, Tony will treat viewers to an in-depth look at a variety of ways to catch fish.

Tony now splits his time between Grand Lake of Oklahoma and Sugar Lake located in Mexico. “We head down to Mexico just after Thanksgiving and stay until the end of February,” Tony stated. “This gives our clients the chance to fish a variety of waters and the opportunity to catch a ton of fish.”

Two of the 13 total episodes scheduled for this season were produced on Sugar Lake. Also, Tony will air footage of last year’s Elite Series event on Grand and his cameras will be rolling this year when the pros return.

Grand Fishing with Tony Coatney airs on Family Channel 43, Grove Cox Cable Channel 3, Charter Cable Channel 47 and Cox Cable Channel 71 in Tulsa. Check with your local cable provider for listings in your area.
